PS 145

Weekly Classes

  • After school classes are offered Mondays and Thursdays

  • Classes will start immediately after school and run until 3:50. Students enrolled in after school programs following chess will be dismissed directly to those after school programs.

  • Monday classes are open to students of all ages and experience levels

    • Dates include: 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 6/1, and 6/8 

    • Cost is $420 for the semester ($30 per class)

  • Thursday classes are open to students of all ages and experience levels

    • Dates include: 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, and 6/11

    • Cost is $390 for the semester ($30 per class)

  • The PTA, in partnership with Eight By Eight Chess, offers a limited number of scholarships to make chess participation accessible to PS 145 students. Due to the limited spots, these scholarships are allocated through a lottery system. If you have financial hardship that genuinely necessitates financial aid, please check the box on the registration form to be considered for the lottery.

Register
